Can't be our car. It was in storage from 1980 to 2000. Most split standards looked the same: GRAY.

When I was a kid, I first saw the back of a split window Volkswagen in this VW ad.So I decided to have a little fun and do some re-enacting. Yes, I realize the age and dates don't quite match up.

It doesn't hurt that I have a bit of an artistic eye and could spot the similarity. Driving a crashbox is just as crappy as everyone says it is, and the car demands too much attention from the driver....
